Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 17, 2026. This page explains what With You collects, how we use it, and what happens if you use sync, shared households, AI features, or account deletion.
1. Who this applies to
This Privacy Policy applies when you use the With You app, website, or related support services.
With You supports both local-only use and account-based sync. If you use the app without creating an account, your pet records stay on your device by default. If you create an account, we store the information needed to provide sync, household sharing, uploads, subscriptions, and account recovery.
2. What we collect
- Account information: email address, password hash, display name, avatar, email verification status, legal acceptance records, and account status.
- Pet and household data: pet records, shared household records, and other content you choose to sync.
- Media and attachments: photos and files you upload to supported synced features.
- Subscription and support data: subscription status, support emails, and limited operational records needed to run the service.
3. How we use your data
- Provide local-only and synced pet-care features.
- Authenticate your account, verify your email address, and support account recovery.
- Store and show synced pet, household, media, and attachment records.
- Support shared households and subscribed features.
- Respond to support requests and account deletion requests.
4. Shared households, uploads, and AI
If you use shared households, synced records and files attached to shared records may be visible to the other members of that household.
If you upload photos, files, or attachments to synced features, we store them so they can be used in the app experience you selected.
If you use AI-assisted features, prompts, images, and attachments you intentionally submit to that feature may be processed by OpenAI GPT models to generate responses, understanding, and recommendations. We use that content only to provide the AI feature you requested.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Sync and household features may be offered as auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The store you use handles the payment transaction. We process the subscription status needed to unlock the features you purchased.
6. Account deletion
You can request account deletion inside the app. When you do, access is revoked and the deletion process is completed within 7 days.
We remove or anonymize directly identifying account data as part of finalization. Some shared household history may remain for other household members where that history belongs to the shared household record.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
